Microfiber Mop

As a bachelor, I hate cleaning.  HATE IT!  But I have a few tricks that I have found to get the most bang for your buck and spend the least amount of time cleaning.  One is the pre-soaped scouring pad thingy, these rule!  And just as valuable when you’re short on time or patience is a microfiber mop.  My mop is number one in my arsenal of cleaning supplies (which isn’t much).

Adam Sandler sang, “mop mop mop, all day long, mop mop mop while I sing this song.” With a microfiber mop you won’t be mopping all day long, but you will be singing a song when you see how superior a microfiber is to a regular mop.

There are many advantages microfibers have over a standard mop.  They are reusable!  You don’t use it a few times, then throw it out because it is falling apart and nasty.  You just swap out the cover and hit the floor again.  You can buy the refills in a dispenser or cartridge that will fit neatly under your sink, and they slip or stick right onto the end of your swivel mop.

It is so easy, even a single 20-something guy can do it!  Furthermore, microfiber mops don’t shed like a traditional mop.  Better yet, they trap dust particles. Microfiber products are catching on like a new craze, from shirts to rags and of course mops, purchase one and try it out if you haven’t already.

The price is not much higher than a low quality traditional mop, and the advantages and ease of use far outweigh the price difference.  While microfiber mops , Swiffers, and even Chenille mops are turning up at retail stores everywhere, it is just as easy to shop online which makes buying and shopping much more time efficient. As an irritable, always in a hurry kind of dude, I will avoid going to the grocery store at all costs.  Mopping will not be the same again! Microfibers have mopped up the competition.
